Duncan Honig
Having joined Maple Leaf Realty in January of 2013, as the first step in a second career – after 25 years of carpentry and contracting, Duncan is now well into his real estate career.
An avid outdoors man, Duncan enjoys skiing and hiking with his boys, and is a gifted photographer of nature and wildlife. While Duncan enjoys working with buyers seeking to find the home that will best meet their needs, he has discovered a niche in listing and selling land – both for home sites and for vacation or recreational use. Hiking properties and looking for the best features and then matching those properties with the right buyers is satisfying work. Thus his well earned title of – The Land Man.
His experience as a contractor has been a plus in being able to talk to his customers about what is involved with building on vacant land or rehabbing a house. Walking acres of vacant land, finding boundaries, researching topography, potential wetlands, streams, views, and more — Duncan knows his stuff.
