Abi tells me that a few summers ago she found herself offering advice to a friend who was preparing to sell their home when the friend said, “Geez! You are so passionate about this, why aren’t you a real estate agent?” It was an ah-ha moment and she hasn’t looked back since.
Abi spent the majority of her life curating a passion for real estate. Beginning early on as the daughter of an architect, she would often accompany her father to both residential and commercial job sites where he would point out the elements of design, style and construction that would set each building apart. They would drive around neighborhoods looking at homes, paint colors, shutter styles, landscaping, location, developing an “eye” for property. These visits and drives, along with an unusual childhood habit of scouring real estate ads, laid the foundation for her passion which has remained consistent for most of her life.
From the early age of 23, Abi began buying, fixing up and selling properties before settling in North Bennington two years ago. Being on both ends of those transactions gave Abi a clear understanding of the ways in which an agent can greatly assist their clients.
If that wasn’t enough, Abi also managed two of her own home based businesses, a knitwear design company and an organic poultry farm, while raising her three children. When she’s not working you can find Abi knitting, cooking or involved in one home improvement project or another. Of course, she spends quite a bit of time looking at real estate during Sunday coffee drives and online.
Abi believes that buying and selling a home are major transitions in a person’s life and should be treated with professionalism, respect and great care. She also believes that buying a home should be fun and with her excitement and enthusiasm, I can see how fun will enter that equation. If you’re looking for that perfect matchmaker to help you find your dream home or a buyer for your property, please give Abi a call or email. She has already proven to be an excellent Realtor and we are looking forward to her continued success.
