About
Donna Poulen
Hi,
I have lived in this area all of my life and must say that my life in Bennington has been wonderful. For sixteen years, I worked for Stanley Tools in Shaftsbury, Vermont where I met my husband John. We have a beautiful daughter, Jamie, who is in her first year of college, but for the last eighteen years John and I have been chasing her around with her sports and other school activities.
Now that I have a bit more time on my hands while Jamie is away at school, I’ve picked up a new hobby - snowshoeing. One of the best places I’ve found to trek around is at Southern Vermont College which is located right in town on the eastern side of Mt. Anthony. It is absolutely beautiful there.
Even in the summer months I have found many walking trails, an old but working gravity fed fountain that flows to the college and I understand there are a few bat caves hidden on this mountain.
When I’m not on the trails I enjoy quilting, reading and campfires at our house. I even joined the local Weight Watchers group and am having much success. Too many activities to list, there is more to do than you might imagine in our quaint little Vermont town of Bennington.
As far as my Real Estate career goes, I always had a passion for this field so, back in 2000 I took a course, passed the tests and have held my license ever since. It has truly been one of the best choices I’ve ever made in my life. I have taken many real estate courses throughout the years not only for continuing education but to keep up in my field, which not only keeps me well informed but makes me even more enthusiastic about my future as a Realtor®.
I hope after reading my brief description, you will want to give me a call if you think I could help with any real estate needs you may have whether it’s buying, selling or just in need of some local information. And as always, if you know of anyone who might benefit from my real estate services, please let me know as I am never too busy for your referrals.
